Great examples. It’s really frustrating and very scary how many PR and/or Communications professionals advocate pages or groups of some form without really putting much thought or even realizing the importance of a long term differentiated content plan. The recruitment strategy is completely seperate and to be honest, with social networks if the content’s good [...]

This makes us at Sowing Seeds happy. Someone using Social Media for more than just another ‘consumer touchpoint’, ‘communication channel’, ‘brand experience tool’ and all the other ridiculously overused buzzwords.
Dell’s recognized how they can provide a useful service to consumers through Twitter whilst growing their alternative revenue stream via DellOutlet. Practices like these are applicable [...]

Here’s an interesting option for companies whom utilize Twitter. It’s straight forward, customers subscribe to a twitter feed from a publisher/organization for a fee, the revenue’s split between the publisher and Super Chirp.
What would make this work? Very strong and compelling content and a good solid brand name. Actually also a possible option for organizations whom could use Twitter [...]
